On the other hand, the right agent can get you 5% more in your pocket in some cases, faster sales, better sales and less legal debt.

How do you find and choose a good agent? Well, for some people it’s a price war and a beauty contest. What do I mean by this? Sometimes people only hire the agent who quotes them the highest price or the agents who are the most interesting.

If only there was a “how to guide” to find the best agent. Well what do you think? There is. And it’s called “Finding the Right Realtor to Sell Your Home,” written by yours truly. It is from 37 years of experience. It took me a while to write.

You have many options when it comes to selling your home. The first step in selling a home is choosing the right option for you. You don’t need a real estate agent to sell your home. This is the number one question that homeowners ask.

Many sellers find selling by owner (FSBO) attractive because it allows them to save thousands of dollars in brokerage fees. Saving money is great, but if you’ve never sold a home before or can’t put in the time to sell, you may be failing.

The seller must be careful not to fall into common traps. They must also conduct market research and manage all documentation, negotiations, management, timing and management. One mistake can cost you a lot of money.

It is a smart idea to work with a real estate agent if you are new to real estate. Realtors are certified professionals who are members of the National Association of Realtors. Experts in these different categories can help you:

Although some real estate agents may also help buyers buy and sell properties, they are not NAR. They are not subject to NAR’s ethical and academic requirements. This is important to remember because it can indicate that the real estate agent is not going to work.

All real estate licensees must complete between 30 and 90 courses each year, regardless of NAR. Here’s what you can do when you have certified and trained professionals helping you sell your most valuable property.

When you choose a real estate agent, you choose someone who has more training than a non-NAR member real estate agent.

There is a steep learning curve if you have never sold a home before. All the educational requirements mentioned above?

How (and When) To Buy A House Without A Real Estate Agent

Many people who choose to do FSBO underestimate the amount of work and activities involved. The first step in your home selling journey is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to complete the process successfully. To successfully sell a home, you need to have certain skills.

The skills we have listed are some of the most important. These skills are not easy to learn if you have never sold a home.

Gaining knowledge is not the end of your journey. Next, you need to prepare to sell
